We are excited to have you joining our family.  Below is a list of current classes offered for Fall/Spring 2017-2018. The registration tab indicates openings available in the class. Your registration will be complete upon payment for yearly membership and first months tuition.

Class Descriptions

 

 

Toddler – For ages 18 months - 2 years old.  This class is smaller in size and  parent/gardian participation is encouraged. Learning to follow directions, taking turns, developing balance and fine motor skills just a few of the skills introduced at this age.

 

Preschool – For ages 2-4 years old.  This class is smaller in size to often match the attention span of our young athletes.  Learning to follow directions, taking turns, developing flexibility and building strength are on the top of our goals.

 

Beginner – Entry Level Gymnastics.  Developing fundamental form, flexibility, and strength.  Basic skills covered include cartwheels, round offs, front / back rolls, back bends, front limbers, and front / back walkovers. Each week this class rotates to Bar, Beam, and Vault.

 

Intermediate – This student has mastered strength and flexibility required to move to more intermediate level skills.  Students will progress skills to dive rolls, back handsprings, front handsprings, and running connection of skills.  Each week this class rotates to Bar, Beam, and Vault.

 

*Students must have a back bend kick over to advance to this level.

 

Advanced – This student has mastered compressive tumbling.  Students will continue their progression with back tucks, front punches, full twist and other advance tumbling skills.  Each week this class rotates to Bar, Beam, and Vault.  (1 hour class)

 

*Students must have a back handspring and/or front handspring to advance to this level.

 

Tumbling 1 – This class is the basis of all power tumblers.  It emphasizes on flexibility and strength building for the overall tumbler.  Basic skills covered include cartwheels, round offs, front / back rolls, back bends, front limbers, and front / back walkovers. This class only exercises floor tumbling.

 

Tumbling 2 – This class continues the progression of power tumbling.  It progresses the tumbler into more compressive skills.  Progressive skills include dive rolls, back handsprings, front handsprings, and running connection of skills.  This class only exercises floor tumbling.

 

*Students must have a back bend kick over to progress to this class.

 

Tumbling 3 – This class is the Elite Power Tumbling Class.  They have progressed through compressive tumbling and carry the strength and flexibility to fly without their hands.  Skills included are back tucks, front punches, full twist and other advance tumbling skills.  This class only exercises floor tumbling.

 

*Students must have a back handspring without a spot to be in this class.
